After the signing of the 2018 Farm Bill ,thousands of farmers began growing industrial hemp, which left millions of pounds of stalks as waste each harvest. GreenTek saw the need, and began building the infrastructure to support the flow of renewable materials into eco-friendly alternatives, aimed at minimizing the use of petroleum/oil or scarce trees.
GreenTek's growing list of partners, clients, and supporters is the heart and soul of company, and we take pride in donating proceeds to community organizations leading the fight against the many ails of society(IPCC, PPC, EDF).

Founder’s Story
As the Son of Major Leaguer George Hinshaw(SD Padres) and an LA School District Principal, Jordan benefited from a zeal for scholarly, athletic, and social pursuits in Long Beach, CA that initiated his journey.
An Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Alumnus of Cal Poly Pomona and CSUEB, Jordan spent time working for multiple manufacturing and logistics companies, but felt his true calling was pursuing a socioeconomic and environmental impact in his own community. Having spent a decade working and living abroad in over 20 states, with a long stint in Kentucky, Mexico, and Canada, and briefly in Japan, he found a unique perspective on the future of hemp and its potential for revolutionary change.
Determined to localize production of sustainable goods, Jordan has spearheaded development of GreenTek's eco-friendly packaging and other goods, with the emphasis on carbon sequestration, offsets, and waste reduction through the use of agricultural byproducts.
